How to fix Avast issues by Uninstalling & Rebooting your PC

To uninstall the Avast Software, open the Control Panel and select "Uninstall a Program". Choose the correct folder for your installation media. If the default folder is Program Files, make sure to select it. If you choose the wrong location, the program will be removed. Once the process is complete, you should reboot your computer. If this does not solve the issue, you should contact Avast support.
After ensuring that the installation media is in the right folder, run a search for cmd in the Windows start menu. Type in "msconfig" and hit "OK" to restart your computer in safe mode. If Avast still won't open, you should install it again. To do this, push the Windows and I keys together and then click "Uninstall". After the process is complete, you should be able to
recognize Avast on your PC.
